Waterstop Solutions Penetrating Waterproofing Repellent (PWR) can be used on any porous substrate without changing its appearance, offering a dry-look finish. The PWR penetrates porous surfaces and chemically bonds directly with the substrate which results in a surface that is highly resistant to the attacks of both moisture and salt (and more) but still allows the passage of water vapour. The solution does not produce any discolouration of the substrate. It has a dry-look finish and has excellent resistance to weathering making it highly suitable for many substrates including footpaths and traffic-bearing surfaces, bricks, concrete, masonry blocks, pavers, non-glazed tiles, grout, stucco and some natural stones.

The penetrating water repellent makes concrete and masonry less porous by creating a bonded hydrophobic lining to the pores. This means that the treated surface will repel water and resist staining from leaves, oil leaks and grease as well as protect against waterborne salts, yet allows water vapour to escape so the substrate can “breathe”. 𝗜𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗲, 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱, 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘄, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀. (Please note that a spill left to sit, can eventually stain the surface.)
