𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Efflorescence is caused by vapour migrating through the slab and/or slab, bringing soluble salts to the surface. This can make the brickwork look unsightly. While efflorescence in and of itself is not harmful, it should be taken seriously as a potential indicator of other problems. For example, it can be an indication that there is excess moisture in the walls or foundation of your building.
𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: The damp conditions created by rising damp can encourage the growth of mould and mildew, which can affect the indoor air quality.
